On a professional note...
God has led Angela down a unique and ever-changing road. After obtaining a degree in Industrial Engineering, she transitioned to a domestic engineer and mother of two. Following years of leading in local MOPS and similar mom’s groups, she ventured into leading Bible studies and felt led to birth the REAL Moms Conference (where moms were Renewed, Equipped, Authentic and Loved).
This ministry experience led to her accepting the role of Women's Ministry Director at a church of over 600 members in 2015. As The Lord led, this opened the door for public speaking, not only at the many women's events she hosts, but also at the Image Bearers Conference for youth girls sponsored by the Kentucky Baptist Convention. Recently she took on the challenge of introducing the Good News Club to her kids’ public school district. Through leading the club, Angela is actively teaching these elementary school children God’s Word.
From the moment she was saved in her college years, she felt God telling her to expect big things and she has seen His faithfulness. Angela is a very passionate, compelling, and bold follower of Christ who loves to encourage others to follow Him wholeheartedly.
On a personal note...
Angela once was a young lady who wanted to take the world by storm as a CEO with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Louisville, but God had other plans!
After marrying her college sweetheart in 2005 they were then relocated from her hometown in Kentucky to Dayton, Ohio, with their first child (Luke, 2008) in utero. What an adventure! A mere year and a half later they moved from Ohio to Charlotte, North Carolina…once again while expecting (Faith, 2009). After two and a half years in North Carolina, the Wethington family of four moved back to the Louisville, Kentucky area where they still reside today.
Though she laid aside her engineering aspirations, she recalls those high powered meetings and is empowered by speaking to others about the Lord…which is much more compelling than warehouse efficiency! God has blessed Angela to be able to pick up hobbies throughout the years like running and tennis. She even completed a Sprint Triathlon and quickly realized that registering for an Iron Man was not in her future. Currently she can be found at either her church, her kid’s school, or at home catching up on her domestic engineering duties.
